Members of Gallery 1516 and alumnae of St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame are invited to join us for a special reception! Artists Mary Zicafoose and Jane Carney, both alumnae of St. Mary’s, will speak about their artwork and the process behind the Full Circle exhibition.

Book Signing Event
with Robert Duncan
Saturday, March 8th — 3-5pm
Join us for a special book signing event with artist Robert Duncan! Duncan will be visiting Gallery 1516 to sign the accompanying book for his exhibition, Barragán: Spiritual Master. The book features all the photographs in this exhibition, plus essays by Duncan and other collaborators.
The book will be available to purchase at the gallery during the event, or you may bring your own copy.

Curator Lecture Series

Join us for our new Curator Lecture Series! This lecture features Karin Campbell, the Phil Willson Curator of Contemporary Art at the Joslyn.
Following a two-year closure for construction and renovation, the Joslyn Art Museum reopened to the public in September 2024. Guided by the principle that museum collections are permanent, but not static, Joslyn curators imagined a reinstallation that expands and diversifies the identities and experiences represented in the galleries and reconsiders the approaches to mediating such narratives to visitors. Karin Campbell will illuminate how these principles apply to the Museum's collection of contemporary art, housed in the new Rhonda & Howard Hawks Pavilion.
