Tubach + Tubach: Preservation features the work of Allan and Lisa Tubach, whose art and lives are significantly connected. As father and daughter, and as dedicated painters, these artists share a deep empathy for our natural and cultural worlds. Separately, they have both been exploring issues of preservation in their work for years, weaving personal narrative into these larger realities. This exhibition highlights both their individual passions— cultural heritage for Allan and environmental sustainability for Lisa— and also presents a unique synthesis of these visions, by examining their work through the lens of father and daughter, and as active stewards of both realms.

Gallery 1516 will schedule exhibitions of Nebraska and regional artists. Under our unique "no commission" policy, all proceeds from work sold go to the artist. 

To be eligible for exhibition artists must submit application to the Gallery in advance. Work will be selected by our curators.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 am - 5 pm
First Friday 11 am - 8 pm
